Young girl with Leukemia gets ‘married’
NEW YORK — Thursday at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in New York, a 4-year-old got to marry the man of her dreams.
A little girl who is battling Leukemia, was given a proper wedding at the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancers. The event was complete with a rose petal aisle and nurses as bride’s maids. Her Prince Charming was her favorite nurse, Matt Hickling, who got all dressed up in a tuxedo t-shirt and scrubs.
In Lori Ciafardoni’s post she thanks those who donated time and flowers and the hospital staff for pulling off a day to remember for a special little girl in less than 24 hours.
